Small Games of Chance
The Department of Revenue and other agencies responsible for administration of small games of chance are developing plans to implement the changes from Acts 90 and 92 of 2013, which become effective Jan. 27, 2014, More information will be available in the near future.
Club licensees that made at least $20,000 in proceeds in 2013 will be required to submit electronic annual reports to the department by Feb 1, 2014. Access to the online reporting system will be available from this site soon.
- Club licensees with questions regarding reporting requirements should contact the Department of Revenue at RA-SGOC@pa.gov.
- Taverns or distributors with questions regarding the state or municipality tavern games tax should contact the Department of Revenue at RA-SGOC@pa.gov.
- Taverns seeking information on small games of chance licensure are encouraged to review the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Legislative Update What Licensees Should Know About Act 90 of 2013 or contact the board directly.
- Questions regarding operation and enforcement of games of chance should be directed to law enforcement officials, such as local or state police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, or county District Attorney’s Office.
